ACADEMIC FOUNDATION

Bring in a purpose-built curriculum, not another disconnected activity.

Partner Schools add a live communication layer built for school operations. The program is CEFR-referenced and CPALMS-informed while the local Teacher, timetable and school identity stay central.

PURPOSE-DESIGNED FOR MODERN SCHOOL USEBuilt from day-to-day school practice and operational experience.

The curriculum is prepared specifically for live international communication, from early speaking confidence through academic, research and leadership communication.

CEFRLanguage progression reference

CEFR is used as an international reference point for language development and communication expectations.

CPALMSFlorida academic reference

CPALMS standards resources inform age-appropriate academic language, literacy and communication design.

THE FIRST 30 SECONDS

A school should understand the educational model before it needs to consider the platform.

Shining Speech™ adds structured live speaking practice to an existing educational environment without asking the partner to rebuild its school, replace local educators or invent a curriculum from scratch.

WHAT IS IT?Structured live communication

English speaking, ELA-related communication, public speaking and critical thinking in a ready lesson framework.

WHY CARE?More students actually speak

Small-room delivery creates more live turns than one large class discussion.

HOW?Teacher + Buddy supervision

Teacher protects quality; Buddies 18+ expand conversation under defined boundaries.

WHAT DO WE NEED?Your students + your team

Partners can add their own students, Teachers and approved Buddies.

WHAT DO WE GET?Program + platform

Curriculum, calendar, assignments, role-based access, communication and reporting workflows.

HOW DO WE START?Register → verify → configure → launch

A structured partner onboarding path makes the next operational step visible.

America already has the voices. We provide the system that brings them into classrooms around the world.

The purpose is structured international communication between people and institutions.

U.S. schools, colleges and universities can create meaningful supervised experience for eligible students and young adults. Schools abroad can create structured live English interaction for their learners. The platform connects the schedules; the educational framework protects the experience.

  • U.S. students build international communication experience
  • International learners get more spoken English speaking turns
  • Teachers keep professional oversight
  • Schools keep their own students and educators connected to their organization

Sample Student ID visual. The public website never asks a student to publish a practical ID. Verification belongs inside the protected onboarding process.

FOR U.S. COLLEGES & UNIVERSITIES

Turn a Student ID into a bridge to the world.

A valid/current Student ID is the front door to the College / University Student Fast-Track.

The campus pathway is intentionally visible because it gives institutions a concrete way to connect student development with supervised international communication. Student status is not just a marketing label: the valid Student ID is the document that verifies the participant belongs in the Student Fast-Track.

Role clarity: Student Fast-Track participants are still Buddies, not automatically Teachers. They must be 18+, complete applicable onboarding/training and work within defined supervision and safeguarding boundaries.
PARTNER DASHBOARD

Your people should not disappear into someone else’s system.

The Partner Dashboard is designed so an organization can keep visibility across its own students and staff while participating in the Learn & Work network.

PARTNER FAQ

Operational questions, answered plainly.

The model is strongest when the roles are understood before launch.

Can a Partner add its own students?

Yes. The current Partner model is designed to allow organizations to add their own students and manage them within the Partner workflow.

Can a Partner use its own Teachers and Buddies?

Yes, subject to applicable onboarding, verification, role and agreement requirements.

Does the Partner lose control of its staff?

No. The Partner Dashboard is designed to preserve organization-level visibility of Teachers, Buddies, students, availability and assignments.

Do college Buddies need Student ID?

For the College / University Student Fast-Track, yes: a valid/current Student ID is the key status-verification document. Other adults 18+ can follow the General Buddy Pathway where eligible.

Is this a replacement for our school curriculum?

No. Shining Speech™ is designed to supplement existing education with structured live speaking, public-speaking and critical-thinking practice.

Are final commercial terms fixed by this page?

No. The signed Partner Agreement governs final rates and terms.

7-PERSON LEARNING TEAM · UP TO 30 LEARNERS

One 30-learner block can be supported by a seven-person teaching and facilitation team.

In a fully staffed unit, the structure is a format-specific instructional team. The school delivery model can place up to 30 learners into six small live rooms of up to five learners. Each room can have a Buddy or Teacher Assistant supporting the conversation, while one qualified Teacher remains the academic authority and keeps live quality oversight across the assigned rooms.

ONE NETWORK · TWO PHYSICAL OPTIONS

A Partner can host the team locally or connect it across borders.

The hybrid model is designed so geography does not have to change the live learning relationship.

PARTNER HUB · ON-SITE

Several Buddies can sit together at one college or school.

A Partner institution can operate a supervised room where trained Buddies connect to international classrooms. A Master Quality Teacher can be present in the same hub or supervise the live sessions through the platform.

DISTRIBUTED · ONLINE

The same lesson can run with the team in different locations.

The classroom remains physically at the school. Buddy and Master Quality Teacher connect live online, following the same scenario, communication rules, quality support and time-zone-aware schedule.

For higher-touch exclusive delivery, the model can scale to two educator roles around a group of up to five, or six direct group roles plus one Master Quality Teacher around a 30-learner cohort.
WHY A SCHOOL MAY CARE

The model creates value on both sides of the connection.

International learners receive structured live English communication. The Partner can simultaneously develop local talent, activate unused teaching capacity and create supervised experience for qualifying adults 18+.

01

Use capacity you already have

Open Teacher hours can become international delivery capacity instead of remaining unused.

02

Grow only when demand grows

Build additional Buddy / TA capacity gradually rather than carrying unnecessary staffing cost upfront.

03

Create a student-development pathway

Eligible college/university students 18+ can enter a supervised experience pathway, with valid/current Student ID used to confirm Student Fast-Track status.

04

Keep the school visible

Partner Dashboard scope keeps the organization connected to its own students, Teachers and Buddies.

05

Build international experience locally

Students and young adults can practice communication across borders without leaving the institution’s support structure.

06

Keep quality centralized

Common curriculum, role boundaries, Quality Wall, attendance and quality notes give the unit one operational language.

Partner presentation showing two paths: activate existing teaching capacity or build a Buddy team
Partner presentation: activate existing staff first, then expand supervised capacity as demand grows.
TWO WAYS TO START

You do not have to build a new department on day one.

Path 1: activate existing native-English teaching capacity. Open hours, experienced Teachers and teaching personnel can enter the international delivery model.

Path 2: build an additional supervised Buddy / TA layer. Identify strong native speakers, train adults 18+, observe readiness and add capacity only as demand justifies it.

Start with the people you already trust. Add new capacity only when the system has somewhere useful to put it.

PARTNER AS A LOCAL TRAINING HUB

Your school can become the place where local talent learns before it serves the wider network.

A Partner does not only receive a program. It can develop people. Approved schools and education organizations can create a local onboarding and observation pathway for eligible Buddy candidates 18+ while qualified Teachers remain at the center of quality and educational judgment.

LOCALStudents and young adults train where they already belong.

When local onboarding is active, the candidate can learn inside a familiar institution rather than beginning as an isolated freelancer.

FASTER STARTExisting Partner infrastructure can reduce friction.

Profiles, supervision relationships, orientation and observation can be organized through the Partner team instead of rebuilt from scratch.

QUALITYThe Teacher remains the academic authority.

Buddies expand speaking opportunities. They do not replace qualified Teachers or independently make formal educational decisions.

COMMUNITYLocal experience can become local capacity.

Young adults build communication and responsibility, then carry those skills into future study, work, schools and community organizations.

Invite candidates to ask one simple question: “Is my school already a Learn & Work Partner?”

For a participating school, that question can turn an abstract global opportunity into a local training pathway with familiar people, local supervision and a clearer first step.

PARTNER SCHOOL DIALOGUE · HIGHER-EDUCATION READINESS

Partner Schools help students understand the United States through the people who experience its education every day.

For Partner Schools, Learn & Work proposes recurring international communication with students who are preparing for higher education, international study and early professional life. The aim is to create a structured exchange where students can ask, listen, compare perspectives, present ideas and understand how another education system feels from inside the classroom.

WHY WE ASK SCHOOLS TO HELP SHAPE THE EXCHANGE
No one can explain American education to an international classroom more directly than the schools, teachers and students who experience it every day.
STUDENT ↔ STUDENT

Higher-education awareness

Older learners can discuss study habits, presentations, campus expectations, teamwork, communication and the transition toward college or university.

TEACHER ↔ TEACHER

Professional exchange

Educators can compare classroom approaches, communication expectations, student participation and the practical challenges of preparing young people for the next stage of education.

SCHOOL ↔ SCHOOL

Institutional perspective

Schools can help explain educational culture, community life, pathways into higher education and the context surrounding students, without turning the exchange into admissions advice.

LEARN & WORK

Structure around the dialogue

We provide the program framework, scheduling logic, role clarity, supervision model and communication structure so the relationship can become recurring rather than occasional.

A REQUEST FOR COLLABORATION

We invite Partner Schools to contribute, not simply participate.

We hope schools will help us choose useful themes, nominate educators and student groups, shape class-to-class questions and tell us what international learners should understand about education in the United States. The exchange becomes more valuable when schools bring their own knowledge, people and culture into it.

POSSIBLE THEMES
  • Preparing for college and university study
  • How students communicate with teachers
  • Presentations, teamwork and academic discussion
  • School culture, clubs, leadership and community life
  • Choosing fields of study and exploring careers
  • International communication and cultural perspective
HYBRID SCHOOL MODEL · LOCAL CLASSROOM + INTERNATIONAL TEAM

The class stays in school. The international team can be in the room or live online.

Up to 30 learners remain physically together at their Partner school, with at least one local Teacher physically present in the classroom. The Buddy and Master Quality Teacher can participate on-site from a school or college hub, or join live online from another location. Either way, everyone works inside the same live session, lesson structure and supervision chain.

25-MINUTE EU SCHOOL CLASSROOM · HYBRID

Local teaching stays in the room. International communication is added around it.

The Partner school keeps its classroom, its Teacher and its educational authority. A Buddy adds the live communication layer, while a Master Quality Teacher supports quality, coaching and intervention. The two international roles may be physically together at a Partner college or school, or connected remotely.

EXCLUSIVE / HIGHER-TOUCH FORMAT

The same network can place more educators around smaller groups.

Exclusive delivery can connect up to three instructional roles around one live experience. A group of up to five can work with two educators, while a fully staffed 30-learner exclusive cohort can use six direct group roles plus one Master Quality Teacher.

ON-SITE PARTNER HUB
Several Buddies can work from the same school or college.

A Partner institution can seat trained Buddies together in one physical training / delivery room while they connect live to international learners.

↔
REMOTE DELIVERY
The same team can work from different locations.

Buddy and Master Quality Teacher can connect online while the learner group remains physically at school, preserving the same live contact and role structure.

BUDDY TRAINING · TRIAL WINDOW

Five trainees can learn the same session together.

Training trials mirror the live model. Up to five Buddy candidates can join one supervised training window with a professional instructor. The instructor models the 1:1 session flow, then trainees rotate through practice, observation and feedback before direct learner work.

500-HOUR DEVELOPMENT PATHWAY

Experience is built before higher-responsibility roles.

After initial training, 500 completed supervised / delivered program hours is the experience threshold for internal pathway review toward Master Teacher / Master Quality responsibilities. At 25 hours per week, 500 hours is approximately 20 weeks. Any role that requires formal teaching qualifications, licensing, safeguarding approval or Partner authorization still requires those conditions.

FLORIDA ↔ CENTRAL EUROPE

A useful transatlantic learning window.

South Florida (Eastern Time) is typically six hours behind Central Europe. That places 8:00 AM Florida at about 2:00 PM Central Europe and 3:00 PM Florida at about 9:00 PM. School partnerships can use a focused 3–5 hour Florida-morning window, while supervised individual sessions can extend across the broader Florida daytime / European after-school period.

Scheduling & role clarity: seasonal daylight-saving changeover weeks can temporarily shift the Florida–Central Europe difference by one hour, so the platform should schedule by time zone rather than fixed manual conversion. Buddy is an adult 18+ supervised communication role. The 500-hour threshold is an internal experience milestone, not an automatic teaching license, employment guarantee or automatic promotion.
25-MINUTE LESSON ARCHITECTURE

Short enough for focus. Structured enough for progress.

TRANSATLANTIC OPERATING WINDOW

Florida mornings can meet European classrooms and after-school learners.

For South Florida / Central Europe, the usual difference is six hours. A practical school-partnership window such as 8:00–11:00 AM Florida aligns approximately with 2:00–5:00 PM Central Europe. Supervised individual sessions can extend toward 3:00 PM Florida / 9:00 PM Central Europe. The scheduling system should use time zones directly because daylight-saving changeovers temporarily alter the difference.

School window

Use a focused 3–5 hour Florida-morning block for European school or institutional sessions, depending on each Partner timetable.

Individual window

A wider Florida daytime block can align with European after-school hours, increasing scheduling flexibility for supervised individual sessions.

Student availability

College schedules vary, but morning availability can create a useful cross-Atlantic fit. Any participation hours must remain compatible with academic commitments, Partner policy, work authorization and applicable law.

YOUR FACULTY CAN PARTICIPATE

A Partner does not need to recruit only English teachers.

Partner schools and colleges may identify licensed educators across subject areas for the Master Teacher pathway. Art, mathematics, science, literacy, elementary, PE, performing arts and other teaching disciplines can fit the role when the educator meets the applicable license, English-communication, onboarding and safeguarding requirements.

Keep existing faculty connected to your institution.

The program can add international communication around educators a Partner already knows. This can make faculty development, Buddy mentoring and local training more practical without forcing the institution into a single-subject staffing model.
